Our client, a college in Houghton, NY, is seeking a cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the Campus Services Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cleaner

Location:  Houghton, NY

Pay Range: $15.75/hour

Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm

What’s the Job?

• Temporary position - few weeks. 
• Clean and sanitize common areas and restrooms across campus
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior campus areas
• Perform outdoor duties including shoveling walkways when needed  

What’s Needed?

• Must have own reliable vehicle
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm
• Experience with commercial or institutional cleaning preferred
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
