Assembly Technician  

American Made Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team supporting a leading manufacturer of commercial fixtures and furniture. This role focuses on precision assembly of custom-built components, ensuring all products meet quality and design standards. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with woodworking, cabinetry, or similar assembly processes and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: 1st 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: Starting at $17ph

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and assembly instructions quickly and accurately.
• Assemble furniture and public space materials, including fitting drawers, doors, and moldings to specification.
• Apply and fit coverings on cases or components as needed.
• Adjust and repair minor defects such as dents or scratches to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Install and repair hardware components when required.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency when assembling parts to prevent damage and ensure quality output.
• Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment required for assembly tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in furniture assembly, cabinetry, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship with an eye for quality.
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in assembly work.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or stoop for extended periods.
• Must regularly lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of using hands and arms to handle tools, parts, and materials with precision.
