Toll Brothers seeks a Mortgage Encompass Developer to provide ongoing support for the Loan Origination System used by Toll Brothers Mortgage , a fully-owned subsidiary.

What is the opportunity?

• Be a key member of the Mortgage IT team through:
  • Designing and developing new applications and solutions for increasing process efficiency and
  • Participating in the development of the IT roadmap and identifying strategic initiatives, pulling from experience and a constant research of industry best practices and technologies.
  • Mentor junior developers to grow their skillsets, including oversight of all solution

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Collaborate directly with the Business to elicit, understand, and document business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable technical solutions that align with business requirements. Solutions may include: custom web app development, automation and integrations using APIs, and reporting/analytics.
• Create and present proof of concepts and demos for proposed solutions
• Act as a project manager to collaborate and effectively communicate with business stakeholders, training, and IT teams to establish project timelines, document functionality, execute UAT, and relay changes to scope.
• Provide 3rd-tier production support
• Remain current with latest technology and industry changes / topics
• All other duties as assigned

• Understanding and knowledge of retail Mortgage Banking processes.
• Effective written, oral and presenting skills to all levels of the organization.
• Innovative developer with ability to research, design, and provide solutions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and handling of multiple projects simultaneously
• Independent researcher that enjoys discovery to full fill business and technology needs
• Familiarity with organizational change best practices and all phases of the SDLC
• Business Analyst and Project Management skillset
• Strong SQL, Javascript, .Net, and C# skillset and experience
• Reporting and Analytics background

Do you have these ?

• Essential:
  • 15+ years of demonstrated hands on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience from planning to release, with heavy emphasis on performing QA and facilitating UAT
  • Highly proficient with 10+ years coding in SQL, , VBSCRIPT, VB.NET and C#.
  • 10+ years eliciting and documenting requirements from business owners
  • 10+ years in SQL database design and maintenance
  • 10+ years in ETL, data warehousing design and development, and report generation
  • 5 years of experience as an Encompass Developer/Administrator creating applications, codebase assemblies, and plugins using the Encompass SDK
  • 3 years experience using Developer Connect APIs for integrating data, webhooks, Azure Functions, and process automation
  • 3 years developing modern web applications with .Net, Bootstrap, including use of Javascript frameworks/libraries and HTML 5
• Preferred:
  • Encompass Developer Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity creating and maintaining SSIS packages
