NURSE
PAULA ARTER (Nurse) is appearing in Act II of her life story following her retirement from Urbana City Schools as a school psychologist. She has appeared in several Clark State Community College productions: To Kill a Mockingbird (Mrs. Dubose), Macbeth (The Porter), Clybourne Park (Bev/Kathy), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Big Mama), Angels in America (Ethel Rosenberg, Hannah, the doctor), The Mousetrap (Mrs. Boyle), and The Foreigner (Betty Meeks). She recently appeared in Springfield in Love Letters (Melissa) with her lifelong leading man. Paula has acted with Marysville Silver Scene Players in Arsenic and Old Lace (Abby Brewster) and You Can’t Take It With You (Penny). She has acted at Marysville Avalon Theatre in The Twisted Tales of Poe (Mrs. Pitts), Charlotte’s Web (Mrs. Arable/Goose), and A Christmas Carol (First Spirit). Paula has also acted with Springfield Civic Theatre, Ohio Lyric Theatre, Yellow Springs Theatre Company, and Ohio Performing Arts Institute. Thanks to Jim, her acting and traveling partner for life.
